The Sounds of Tennessee in LDN!

leslie leighton DOOH, EXPERIENTIAL

It’s great to see co-ordinated OOH and experiential campaigns that work together to create fantastic impact and great consumer events. If you’ve the time pop down to Waterloo rail station, especially between 2pm and 6pm to experience the sights, sounds and taste of Tennessee in central London.

On weekday afternoons the ‘ Sounds of Tennessee’ mini-stage features music from artists playing ‘Americana’ songs including blues, bluegrass, country, gospel, soul, rockabilly and rock ’n’ roll. And for the afternoon commuters there’s sampling of Jack Daniels whisky-infused cider (quite nice).

The Tennessee promotion features earphones where commuters can listen to historic recordings from local Tennessee radio stations, interviews with Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton and even the birdsong and trickling water of the Great Smoky Mountains.

To read more check out articles from sellingtravel.co.uk and the Tennessee Government tourist web site. Also, our images from the event.

Interestingly, McDonalds is running their ‘Tennessee Burger Stack‘ promotion at the moment!? Co-incidence?
